There are numerous EMEA card designers that have been developed by Emedia Card that come with a variety of features for designing cards. In this article, we show how to create a three-tiered card design in EMEA with customizable typography and background color. First, open the main menu of the product where you can select from a range of cards to use as a reference. You can customize color of these cards using an easy selection swatch panel on the right side of the screen. To ensure that the card is in the correct perspective, double click on the image in the middle of the screen to bring up four-point perspective view. The base layer is selected by default so you can choose background color for this layer using a color picker. After selecting desired colors for all base layers, you can create a new card design by dragging and dropping images onto any empty areas of your design canvas. You can then type text on these images to customize them for your own use. To provide better visibility to your text messages, right-click on each text field and select ‘Font’ option from pop-up menu. This will allow you to change font or even template used within each text fields. If desired, you can create another card design with different colors and graphics by clicking on ‘New Card’ button. This will open up new card design interface with card number two. While designing, you may want to move text or images around the canvas or scale them for better viewing. To resize any element on the screen, drag one of the control handles at four corners of rectangle bounding box. Also, you can mix fonts within text fields for more interesting results. If your card is almost complete, but requires some photos to be added into existing layers of your design canvas, simply drag these photos onto an image watermark that appears in blank spaces on the screen. You can create as many designs as you want with the same elements. If you need to combine designs, simply click on ‘Combine Designs’ button at the bottom of your screen and select one of your designs to combine with another card with this option turned on. To ensure that all elements are in the correct perspective, hold down shift key and double-click inside the four-point view window to bring up 4-point perspective view window. This is a longer time consuming process, but it is more efficient than creating individual card designs for each country within EMEA region. After the card design is completed, it’s time to save this in desired file format. You can download card templates in various formats including animation for use in other Emedia products. A list of supported formats appear when you click on ‘Save’ button. However, you can save your card design in any format of your choice by clicking on ‘Browse…’ button and selecting the desired file extension.
