The Abhinetri 2 is the second part of the 2013 Telugu comedy film Abhinetri, directed by debutant Sachu Varma. The film released on 31 October 2013.[1] The film stars Nara Rohith, Prakash Raj and Catherine Tresa in lead roles. Music is composed by Sai Karthik while editing was handled by Anthony Gonsalves.[1] The story revolves around two people who take it upon themselves to understand human behavior. They name their respective characters "Salt Man" and "Pepper Girl". The title of the movie comes from this duo's list of rules that they give to everyone in society for living well with others. The film was remade in Tamil as Abhiyum Naanum starring Arulnithi, Divya Spandana and Isha Talwar.[2] The story is about two individuals (Sathya, who gives himself the name Salt Man, and Nandini, aka Pepper Girl) who study life; the two meet each other online. They start to live together with their own rules, like that its necessary for a male to do all domestic jobs like cooking and cleaning. They meet each other's friends - Sathya gets introduced to Nandini's best friend Kavya (Catherine Tresa), who thinks he is stuck up. Is it possible for a person who enjoys regular services to be happy? How will that change them? The movie was released on 31 October 2013. It received mixed reviews from the critics. Rediff.com gave a rating of 2.5/5 and wrote "Abhinetri 2 is a film which might not appeal to the masses but definitely keeps you engaged in its witty script and good performances."[3] IBNLive wrote, "Abhinetri 2 is not very pleasant, but if you are fan of [sic] Sachu Varma's writing style and [sic] Nara Rohit's acting skills, you might end up liking this movie. What lifts the film are the talented acting performances by Nara Rohit and Catherine Tresa. This should be a cracker of a movie."[7] In an interview with film critic Raja Sen he says that the movie is good but the one who has been judging films based on his films, will not like it.
